Dill (plant)

Cucumbers and dill are inseparable, as pickles, in yogurt salads, or as a crisp side salad with onions. Dill produces large umbels of little yellow flowers that  provide food for pollinators, while the feathery foliage provides hiding places for beneficial insects. Let the flowers set seed and then place an entire seed head in your pickle jar. Best planted in the ground in full sun.
