Plant this lovely Mediterranean perennial along path edges for an aromatic stroll through your garden. Harvest and dry flowers and leaves for teas, and to flavor shortbreads or ice cream. Avoid over-watering. Flowers are spikes. Perennial, but will need protection during a hard winter.

Fringed French Leaves are greener, and pleasantly serrated. Planted with Provence, it would add depth and texture to a dry, sunny spot. Purple flowers.
